Project Cargo
Project cargo is first and foremost about putting in place the right resources to ensure the success of the mission entrusted to us by our customers. These resources may be human, IT or material, but it is above all the experience of our staff that makes the difference in anticipating the difficulties associated with special projects. With us, the project covers shipments of exceptional parcels, whether wide, long, high, heavy, priceless, complex to handle, or very numerous.
Charter
If you need a dedicated vessel, due to the large volume of your cargo or to go where other carriers don’t provide service, we can source a Charter or Part Charter to cater to your needs.
Heavy Lift
In transportation, heavy lift refers to the handling and installation of heavy items which are indivisible, and weights are generally over 100 tons. Heavy-lift goods are categorized as non-standard, requiring individualized transport plan and special itinerary arrangements. In most countries specific authorizations are required, which could take several weeks to obtain.
Breakbulk
Break Bulk is the transportation of merchandise in ships without containers. Merchandise may be shipped in bulk, such as grain or sand or oil, but can also be loaded into the ships as static cargo packaged in crates, bags, boxes, drums, or barrels. Usually this involves larger quantities and volume. We can source these types of conveyances for whatever cargo is being shipped.
Packing and Lifting
A Packing is an object designed to contain and protect goods, enabling them to be handled and transported. Industrial packing is an operation that involves taking the material into account, packing it (according to a protection index), placing it in a crate (making the crate according to a category), securing it (preventing any movement in three dimensions), identifying the package (marking the crate), and possibly containerizing it (stacking). ECS could provide packing solutions in several countries and under several accreditations or certifications (UPLR, SEILA…).
